This looks like Roman to me ...
But I wouldn't mind to splash in the water on a hot summers day.
OK, now I see it what the tourist on the right bottom corner is personifying ... no, let me not say l'indifference, but is she perhaps "searching for aptness"?
I don't know...
Anyway, the picture is great!!

What I have seen is a difference between the statue of a man showing pride and power, while the statue (of the picture above it) of a woman showing humiliation, tenderness to the child..both are needed to make harmoney in the world. However our world currently revolves around the male figure, the powerful, the proud, giving less and less attention to the feminine side, thus the destruction and overpowering of nations as we see everywhere..

zee.. yes i took this in rome though i can't remember if it was campidoglio or not..
indifference on both sides actually..
mone that's exactly what i meant by the third post.. where only men would be disappointed with indifference, only women would be ill at ease if they weren't able to give and be tender..
women should definitely rule the world but then again i see women like condi..

Condi, ha - she is a thorough bread birch - sorry, bitch.
The gender issue is interesting - I believe there have been cultures or societies ruled by woman quite successfully, too bad that they had to vanish.
Can we try again?

The feminine quality that is missing from our life doesn't really mean more females necessarily to rule the world, it means more sensitivity, more spirituality and more freedom. Our leaders now, don't posses that at all. Condi has no feminine quality at all although she is female, there were great people like Ghandi for example that done marvel to this world in terms of peace and freedom. The trick is to respect this feminine quality and nourish it in our world...then balance both male and female sides..the only way to find peace harmony in the world
