I don't think it is. I think that, aside from the great many Iraqis who understandably want the Americans out, that there are also decent American soldiers who try to make some sort of difference. There is no black or white, there is good and bad, from all sides. It's easy to demonize everyone in one big heap, but there are 'nice' stories to be found as well. One marine that I met who decided he had enough, told me that plenty of marines in this platoon believed they were there for the oil. He was somewhere in Iraq (for the life of me, I don't remember where) where he wrote to his mother to send over all kinds of vegetable and fruit seeds for people to cultivate themselves, (as a horticultarist sp?) so she did and he made some friends. Pictures like this are not unusual, they are part of the whole that has good and bad. So it's nice to show that as well.

What matters is how it resonates to you.
To me it tells the story that we are all human.
