And Italy wins..

and mar said it..
What started out as a boring match ended with an unbelievable win for Italy with Grosso and Del Piero scoring in the second over time right when we started to lose hope (Del piero’s goal was at the last minute no less). Those honey-glazed babes made it after all. I swear the whole building heard our screams. I have some phone calls to make (to gloat of course). Italy is most probably going to win this Sunday. My sister must be very upset right now for her beloved Deutschland. Well, tough.

I KNOW!!!! i still can't believe it. i still think they both played really bad but after the first one, the sudden boost in moral and the second goal was just incredible

snif snif!

I have to disagree mirvat, I think it was one of the better games of the world cup. The Germans can leave the tournament their head held way high... and as for the Italians... well.. they played well for once. Cannavaro was amazing. so was Buffon.
I wish I could go on, but I really forced myself to type those words...
mourning starts now.

sorry _z.
the germans played really well that's for sure. italy was more on the defense the whole time and they kept diving which made it all the more frustrating for me to watch. the last minutes were great though.

You should have been there in Italy when their team is playing, very passionate folks ... you may not understand the language but you can tell their emotions whether upset, happy, etc. I got the chance to be there during 2 games yipppppppie.
